The show was 30mins long where Bryan and his band performed classic hits and soon to be hits from the new album (released Monday 25th)
UCA Rochester Fashion Promotion Graduate Exhibition
Asahi are supporting the University for the Creative Arts at Rochester BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion Graduate Exhibition at The Old Truman Brewery this June. The exhibition will be part of Free Range for the first time which has become the number one platform and launchpad for graduates to showcase their work, both to the public and to the creative industries. This year’s innovations include a new fashion strand from UCA Rochester.
Glamour Women of the Year
The 2010 GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards will be honouring the best female talent from across the globe on June 8th 2010. It promises to be a seriously A-List affair.
The Haiti Project
Asahi are delighted to support this fundraising evening in aid of SOS Children and Free the Children, two charities in Haiti. On May 26th a reception followed by Dinner will be held at Altitude 360 Millbank Tower 21-24 Millbank Westminster SW1P 4QP, after this there will be an auction with amazing money-can't-buy experiences and then a club-style after party with great live acts. It will be hosted by The Reuben Foundation and Virgin Unite. It is set to be a glamorous and well talked about event.
THE GREEN FASHION SHOW
This year MODO presents an environmental Fashion show where all materials are recycled or sustainably sourced. It is a chance for all parts of our society to get together and put on an alternative fashion show in the week after Fashion Week.
Help Me Find My Proper Place’ – A solo show by Luc Price
Also known as the acclaimed street artist Cyclops and heralded as a new star in the art world – will be exploring the fringes of society in a show which tackles narratives of homelessness, dereliction, madness, drugs and redemption. The show marks Price’s ascension from a life on the streets to one of the UK’s bestselling artists from a graffiti background.

Asahi beer sponsored the London Fashion Week Show at ON/Off for designer Jasper Garvida. The designer, winner of TV Programme Project Catwalk, designed a bottle top collection of dresses that are embellished with Asahi beer bottle tops.
Jasper Garvida Private View
The preview held at The Soho Sanctum Hotel was the first part of Asahi’s work as the ‘Official Partner’ to the designer Jasper Garvida at London Fashion Week 2010. The preview was a show case for buyers and journalists to see the collection including the Asahi bottle top collection before it is featured on the catwalk at ON/OFF London Fashion Week next week.
The GQ Men of the Year Awards
Asahi beer sponsored this star studded event to celebrate the GQ Men of the year. Asahi was enjoyed throughout the evening by guests including Jenson Button, Take That, Eva Mendes, Daisy Lowe, Lily Allen, Pixie Lott, Kelly Brook, Ant and Dec, Kate Moss and Dizzee Rascal.
GQ Men of the Year Awards
An awards ceremony for some 800 guests at The Royal Opera House. Last year’s awards generated over £2.65 million in publicity. Over two hundred fashionistas gathered for the launch of PRPS at Start Boutique Shoreditch. The Voguettes and Lady Hawke were the DJ’s for the evening and the star-studded guests included Henry Holland, Sadie Frost and T4’S Rick Edwards.
Sass and Bide Auction for Bernardo’s Charity
To mark their 10th year anniversary Sass & Bide have decided to ask 10 of their favourite souls to collaborate with them on a creative project. The collaborations were then auctioned off for the Children’s charity Bernardo’s.

Astrid Harbord’s Charity Bash
Astrid Harbord, Amanda Sheppard and Camilla Stopford held this charity bash in aid of the Children’s Trust and Breast Cancer Care. The prestigious post-marathon party held at 17 Berkley Square housed over 500 guests. The event will receive a 2 page spread in Tatler. Asahi Bottles were displayed on all the back-bars, on the logo was included d on the e-vite.
The Restaurant and Bar Design Awards
The event was held in recognition of excellence in the UK’s restaurant and bars -dedicated exclusively to design. The Photographic Object - Private View
The Photographic Object, which will examine photography as an object in its own right and will include work by Gerhard Richter, Andy Warhol and Wolfgang Tillmans among others, and a commissioned series of video works on Soho by the artist Jordan Baseman. Kuniyoshi Opening Reception
Asahi were pleased to be supporting the Opening Reception of the Royal Academy of Arts spring blockbuster, Kuniyoshi. The exhibition displays Kuniyoshi’s most staggering imagery, from his innovative representations of tattooed Chinese heroes to his most successful applications of Western perspective. The reception took place in the Royal Academy’s Fine Rooms for approx. 500 guests.
The Black Rat Birthday
Asahi were delighted to support The Black Rat as they celebrated their birthday at Shoreditch House, Ebor Street, London E1 6AW on Thursday 12th March. The party began at 7pm and finished at 9pm. 300 people marvelled at the new works on display by D-Face, Nick Walker, Swoon, Brian Adam, Douglas and Matt Small. The Asahi Beer was kept cool in a very “Cool,” SMEG fridge.
A Comic Relief Party at Paramount to Raise Money for the Comic Relief Charity
600 party-goers attended this charity event at The Paramount Club in New Oxford Street. The Auction raised £50,000 for charity and the guests enjoyed Asahi Beer, which was prominently displayed on the Bar.
Girls Who Draw present Misfits & Miscellany

Over 2000 people attended this Wednesday’s Adult Lates exhibition at The Science Museum. Asahi Beer was served on all bars at the exhibition and prominently displayed throughout the evening. The Watchmen Premier
400 people and celebrities attended this movie premier after party. The Asahi logo was placed on all invites and billboards at the event. This event had been organised by Aaron Rudd and was a great success.

Punk Perfect Awful - Private View
Asahi were delighted to sponsor Photographer Matt Irwin in association with Dazed & Confused Magazine. The exhibition on 20th February at Cordy House 87-95 Curtain Road showed his work over the last year including portraits of Georgia Jagger, Pixie Geldof, Alexa Chung, Daphne Guinness, Daisy Lowe, Natalie Vodianova most of whom attended the event among the top movers and shakers of the fashion and photography industries.
Grok Institute
On the 19th February at 12-13 Kingly Street W1, Asahi are supporting Grok Institute curators Jean-Robert Saintil and Andrew McPhee in launching a new-format event featuring forward thinking digital art, light installations, video and music. The event itself is not a gallery, a gathering, an opening nor a clubnight; but rather a mix of all of the above that sits somewhere in between.
The Print Show

Paddle Round The Pier 5-6th July 2008
Asahi are proud to sponsor the VIP area at one of this year’s biggest free charity beach festivals. Paddle Round the pier is in its 8th year attracting live bands, major sponsors and no less than 15,000 people expected over the weekend.

Mr Asahi Robot's first public appearance is at Selfridges Oxford Street on 2nd July for four days – he then begins a working national sampling tour. Next he will be at Selfridges Manchester at both the Exchange Square Store for two days from the 10th July and the Trafford Centre Store for two days from 12th July.
